Dave is a 35 year airline industry veteran who along with business partner Mark Halsor, purchased Aircraft Information Services Inc. from Fred Bearden in 2011. Prior to beginning his career as an appraiser, Dave flew airliners for Delta Air Lines. His last posting was Boeing 767 Captain and Instructor Pilot on both the Boeing 767 and Boeing 757 aircraft. Dave has logged over 15,000 flying hours on almost all of Boeing’s airliners and on the USAF T-37. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy in 1974, Dave earned his MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio Business School in 1989. Fred Bearden continues as an AISI consultant and remains as one of our industry’s most respected aircraft value forecasters. Dave lives in Atlanta with his wife Karen and has five children.

Prior to beginning his career as an appraiser, Mark flew airliners for Delta Air Lines, Singapore Cargo Airlines and for Korean Air. His last posting was Boeing 747-400 Captain on both passenger and cargo aircraft. He has logged over 15,000 flying hours on almost all of Boeing’s airliners and on the USAF C-130. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy in 1974, Mark earned his MBA from the University of New Hampshire’s Whittemore Business School in 2000. Fred Bearden continues as an AISI consultant and remains as one of our industry’s most respected aircraft value forecasters. Mark lives in New Hampshire with his wife of 40 years Vicki, and has three grown children and two grandchildren.

Fred has over 50 years of extensive technical management experience in the engineering, project management and quality control aspects of commercial aviation. He has over 30 years experience in consulting services to commercial and corporate aviation, providing appraisals, inspections, analysis and management of aircraft, equipment and associated contractual issues.Graduate, Georgia Institute of Technology, 1962, Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering. Served 5 years active duty as US Army officer in US, Germany and Vietnam. Awarded Bronze Star, Vietnam Service Medals. Served 17 years with Pan American World Airways (1956…1978) last as manager, Project Engineering. Then served as Director, Engineering and Quality Control of a manufacturer of certified air equipment, Transequip, Inc., then as Director of Technical Services for two aircraft leasing companies, Itel Air and Tiger Air. Executive officer of Aircraft Information Management, Inc. (1982-1986). Technical Vice President, then President, Airclaims Information Services, Inc (1986-1992). After management buyout, President, Aircraft Information services, Inc. (1992 – 2006). CEO, Aircraft Information services, Inc. (2006 – 2011). CEO/President and Partner, Aircraft Information Services, Inc. (AISI), (1992-2001). After sale of AISI to Dave Miller and Mark Halsor; Consultant, Aircraft Information Services Inc. (2011-Present).
